IGX will need to have the IO-hub task enabled and licensed with the required IO count for any DX driver to be integrated. You should put all *.json + *.csv files within the project folder.

The DX project name must be matched to the IGX project name or ID when running remotely from the IGX project. All tags listed in the CSV file shall be added into the SCADA virtual tags automatically, so you may use them as it is directly.

DX is distributed together with IGX when you install with the standard IGX installer version 10 and later. You may place both JSON+CSV files into the project folder, and the driver will be started automatically by IO-hub as service when the meta name is present.
NOTE: Be aware that all strings in the CSV file must not be added with double quotes so that can be parsed by IGX Project Editor.

You may use Project Editor to add a DX node under IO-Hub, and then edit the JSON parameters.

IO-hub Watchdog
You may enable the IO-hub watchdog to monitor any external system that is attached via DIOT modules/hardware. Be aware that this is beyond DIOT or DX modules, and the watchdog might raise an alert as long as the attached device/system failed to update within the preset time frame, even though the DIOT or DX modules are still connected.
You may set the watchdog parameter with a timeout for each connected device/system. Watchdog checks for the last updated tag timestamp from the attached device/system via DIOT/DX modules. The watchdog setting can be configured under the 'task' section inside the json configuration file. For e.g., “watchdog”: 5000 indicates that the watchdog has a 5000 ms timeout. 
The IO-hub will actively monitor if any of the last updated tag timestamp from the attached device/system is within the timeout, then the system tag "<moduleID>.<taskID>.watchdog.alert" is set to false. If the last update timestamp of all tags from the DX module exceeds the timeout, the system tag "<moduleID>.<taskID>.watchdog.alert" will be set to true.
